| Disposal of your old systems is not as easy as throwing it in a dumpster. You have to consider what is on the hard drive and who is going dumpster diving after your old equipment. To make sure your company and data is secure you need to dispose of them properly. If you recycle them your drive still contains data. However even if you DoD wipe them data may still be able to be recovered. Drive shreading is the only sure way to destroy all data on a drive as it is literally ripped to shreds into metal strips. You can get either certified data destruction of the drive or trust that they'll shred the drive. Depending on the type of data you may need and be required to use certified drive destruction. We will work with you on which is best. As to the remainder of the unit responsible recycling is always an option due to the toxic metals found in some of the units such a lead, and other heavy metals. We offer recycling and will remove your drive prior to the recycle. |
